Philip Morris Retirees Bid Farewell

Previously, the headquarters of Philip Morris USA, located in Louisville Kentucky was one of the largest employers in the metro area, employing over 4000 workers.  When Philip Morris made the decision to close this location, it left a tremendous void in terms of vibrant business and jobs for many in the community.

It seemed to be the right thing to do when we invited the Philip Morris retirees to bid farewell to a place where many had worked for 40 plus years. They toured the facility, one last time, reuniting them with fellow workers and friends, as well as gathering items that would help them continue to cherish great memories.
